TEENA MAHYLIS Teena Mahylis passed away on Saturday, March 10, 2001, at Rideau Park Personal Care Home in Brandon, at the age of 85. Teena was predeceased by her husband John on January 8, 1982; brothers Stephen, Joseph, and Michael "Bergie"; sisters Amy, Mary, Annie, and Susie. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Margaret and husband Jim Kelly of Calgary; son John Mahylis of Vancouver, and daughter Judy and husband Gerry Giesbrecht of Brandon; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; brothers Peter "Wally" and Paul, as well as nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the staff at Rideau Personal Care Home in Brandon for the excellent care given to our mother during her two-year stay. In lieu of flowers, should friends so desire, donations in Teenas memory may be made to the Alzheimers Society, 120 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 4G2. Funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 15, 2001, at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave., with visitation one half hour prior to the service time.
