MARIE MADELEINE TESSIER (nee HACAULT) It is with deepest sorrow that we announce the passing of Marie Tessier, beloved wife, mother and grandmother on Sunday March 11, 2001. Marie will be missed dearly by her husband of 44 years, Dennis; her children, Denis (Therese), Guy (Heather), Marianne (Richard), Cecille (Craig) and her precious grandchildren, Nicholas, Jenna, Sarah, Karsten, Riley, Aaron and Cameron. Marie is also survived by numerous brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and extended family. Born and raised in Bruxelles, Man., in 1938, Marie married in 1957 and dedicated her life to raising her children and grandchildren, which we are sure she will continue to have a hand in. Mom loved to be outside and had a green thumb as anyone who walked in the yard could see. She grew wonderful gardens and orchards for her grandchildren to raid. She also loved to knit and crochet precious articles for her children and grandchildren. Mom was the guiding light for our family and the force that kept us all together. She was always there to listen to us but never judged us. Her love for us never waivered. We will miss her greatly and know she is now with us forever. We will hear her laugh again and know she will watch over us always and forever. We love you Mom. A memorial mass will be celebrated on Thursday, March 15 at 1:00 p.m. in the Notre Dame Roman Catholic Church, Selkirk with Fr. Boguslaw Wardzinski officiating. Interment of ashes to follow in the Parish Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a childrens charity of ones choice. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.
