Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryKELLY RAE JAREMY March 16, 1972 - March 11, 2001 It is with great sadness that the family announces the accidental death of Kelly Rae Jaremy. Kelly was loved and will be sadly missed by her parents Ron and Donna Jaremy; her sister and best friend, Shannon Jaremy; grandparents Donald and Virginia McKinnon; uncle Karl and aunt Dianne McKinnon and cousins Ian, Kris and Leigh McKinnon; and aunt Doreen Swift and cousins, Karmel and Reid Jaremy; uncle Dan Jaremy; uncle Taras and aunt Ingun Jaremy and cousins, Max, Andrei and Heidi Jaremy as well as great-aunts, great-uncles, other relatives and countless friends. She was predeceased by her baba and gido, John and Dorothy Jaremy and uncle Ted Jaremy. Kelly was born in Teulon but lived in Chatfield until the family moved to Teulon where she attended Teulon Elementary School and Teulon Collegiate. She then attended the University of Manitoba where she completed her Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Education degrees. She held several part-time and summer jobs as waitress, sales clerk, lifeguard, greens keeper and activities coordinator for the mentally challenged. Immediately after finishing university, she substitute taught in Winnipeg and Teulon. She travelled to South Korea where she taught English for a few months. She returned to Canada and accepted a part-time position with Dauphin-Ochre School Division, teaching at MacKenzie Middle School and the Dauphin Regional Comprehensive Secondary School. She was in her fourth year of teaching Grade 6 at the Lt. Colonel Barker School. Kelly enjoyed all sports, especially curling and baseball. She competed at the provincial and national level in broom ball and slopitch. She also loved the artsshe tried numerous crafts and painting projects. She was a member of the Teulon United Church, junior and senior Choir. For several years she participated in the Rockwood Festival of the Arts in vocal choir and piano. Kelly had a great zest for life. She enjoyed travelling and having new experiences. She enjoyed working with people and loved teaching children. Above all, she was devoted to her family and friends. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 17 at 11:00 a.m. in the Teulon Rockwood Centennial Centre with Rev. Ken Anstie officiating. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to a charity of ones choice. MacKenzie Funeral Home, Teulon in care arrangements.
