HERBERT JOSEPH "BERT" GOODINE Passed away at the Glenboro Personal Care Home on Saturday, March 10, 2001 at the age of 91 years, Herbert Joseph "Bert" Goodine of Glenboro, Man. Bert leaves to mourn his passing two sons, Lenwood (Jocelyn) of Winnipeg, William (Geraldine) of Winnipeg; three daughters, Isabelle Dowd of Glenboro, Mavis (George) Thompson of Calgary, Irene (Dwayne) Drinkwater of Glenboro; 21 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild. He is also survived by brothers-in-law, Bill MacRae and Ted Barker, and by a sister-in-law Ora Goodine, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Bert was predeceased by his parents, Oliver and Margaret Goodine; wife Sarah May (nee Gillespie) in 1980; son James in 1985; a grandson Randy in 1993; brothers, John, George and Louis; sisters, Mary Barker, Edith MacRae and Olive Joelson and by a son-in-law Nelson Dowd. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 14 at 2:00 p.m. in the Willmor Chapel, 415 Broadway St., Glenboro, with Rev. Marilyn Matson officiating. Interment will take place in the Glenboro Cemetery. Friends that so desire, memoriams may be made in Berts memory to the Glenboro & Area Foundation Inc., Box 147, Glenboro, Man., R0K 0X0.
