HAZEL ISABELLA BEAUBIEN After a brief illness, on Sunday, March 11, 2001 at her residence, Hazel Beaubien, aged 63 years, beloved wife of Ed Beaubien of Arborg. Born January 13, 1938 at Dauphin, she married Ed on March 31, 1956 and had lived in many communities in Manitoba until making a permanent home in Winnipeg. She had been employed at The Bay in the Collections Department for several years and in 1981 she retired and moved to Arborg. Surviving besides her husband Ed; one daughter Barbara (Arden) Weigelt of Moosehorn; one son Brad (Joanne) of Arborg; grandchildren, Heather (Ryan), Marianne (Johnathon), Brian (Nadine), Laura, Michael, Katie, Candice, Denise and Jenny. Great-grandchildren, Jodie and Joshua; one brother Delbert (Evelyn), Secord of Peachland, B.C.; two sisters, Joan (Merle) Matz of Dauphin, Elba (Marshall) Haid of Winnipeg; numerous nieces and nephews. Viewing at the church prior to the service. Funeral service will be held on Friday, March 16 at 2:30 p.m. in the Ardal-Geysar Lutheran Church, Arborg, Pastor Otto Christensen will officiate. Service will conclude at the church with cremation to follow. Honorary pallbearers, grandsons, Brian, Michael, Ryan and Johnathon, and friends, Nadine, Kurtis and Tyson. Active pallbearers, granddaughters, Heather, Marianne, Laura, Katie, Candice, Denise and Jenny. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba. Arborg (MacKenzie) Funeral Home, in care of arrangements.
