EDITH JURGENS Suddenly at her residence, Edith Jurgens passed away on Monday, March 12, 2001 at the age of 64 years. She leaves to mourn her husband Ray Jurgens; son Robert and wife Janice; grandson Dale; sister Lillian Fletcher; brothers, Ken and Brian Raven; numerous nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by her mother and father, and grandson Robert Jr. Edith was a longtime resident of Winnipeg. She loved fishing, bingo and spending time with her family and friends. Prayers will be said on Wednesday, March 14 at 7:00 p.m. at the Aboriginal Funeral Chapel, 724 Selkirk Ave., Winnipeg. Wake service will be held on Thursday, March 15 at the St. Alexander Roman Catholic Church, Fort Alexander. Funeral service will be held on Friday, March 16 at 2:00 p.m. also at the St. Alexander Roman Catholic Church, Fort Alexander with Fr. Laval Cloutier officiating. Interment to follow at the St. Alexander Roman Catholic Church cemetery. The family would like to thank the paramedics for their excellent care and helpful service.
