IOLA MURIEL JAHNS Peacefully after a lengthy illness on Monday, March 12, 2001, at the Hunter Memorial Hospital, Teulon, Iola Jahns, aged 75 years of Teulon, MB. Born September 26, 1925 at Teulon, Iola had lived in the Teulon district all her life. She had been employed at the Teulon Bakery for 40 years. She was predeceased by an infant son Bruce, her first husband Doug in 1977 and her second husband Wilson in 1987, her daughter Kathy in 1992, also by her brothers Bill and Arnold Slater and sisters, Marg Hill and Lila Kerr. Surviving tomourn her loss one sister Marj (Cliff) Marshall of Peterborough, ON, son-in-law Ted Hodgkinson of Teulon, step sons, Dennis (Yvette) Jahns and their children, Shawna, Derek and Trevor of Rivers; Garry (Heather) Jahns and their children, Kyle and Ashley of Gunton; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 15, at 2:00 p.m. in the Mackenzie Funeral Chapel, Teulon. Rev. Ken Anstie will officiate. The family wishes to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at the Hunter Memorial Hospital for their excellent care. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to the Hunter Memorial Hospital, Teulon. Mackenzie Funeral Home, Teulon in care of arrangements.
