FREDERICK GEORGE BROOKS Mr. Fred Brooks, beloved husband of Kathleen passed away peacefully at the Middlechurch Home at the age of 85 years on Tuesday, March 13, 2001, following a lengthy illness. Fred was predeceased by his parents, George and Florence, and his brothers, George William and William Boyd. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of over 60 years Kathleen; their daughter Barbara Huzarski (Dick), and son Gary (Karen) four grandchildren, Jim (Evelyn), their daughter Sarah; Dan (Lisa), their daughter Megan; David (Yolanda), son Ryan; and Shannon, her son Michael. He will also be fondly remembered by his sister Florence Brown (Basil) sisters-in-law, Anne and Beatrice; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 17 at 2:00 p.m. in John Black Memorial United Church, 898 Henderson Hwy., with Rev. Jim Hatherly officiating. Friends may pay their respects from 1:15 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. Following cremation, interment will take place in Green Acres Memorial Gardens. A special thank you to Middlechurch Nursing Home for their care and kindness especially the nurses and staff of A1 and D1.
