Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryARTHUR (ART) RAYMOND PASCOE Art Pascoe graduated from life in the body to life in the spirit on Monday, March 12, 2001, at the Gimli Hospital. Born in Winnipeg on October 5, 1912, he was predeceased by his parents May and Harry Pascoe, brother Lloyd and sister Muriel Reid. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Allie (nee Benson) sons, Wray (Michael and Justin) and David (Shauna) and a sister Ruth McLeod of Vancouver. For many years he was employed at the Royal Alexandra Hotel (the Alex) and became General Manager of A&T Hotels (Minaki Lodge) in 1956. He later became Manager of the Airport Hotel, which was home of the Constellation Room. He became a partner in Plummers Great Bear and Great Slave Lodges in 1966 and retired in 1975. Art was a founding member of the Annual Kidney Foundation Dinner. He had a love for horses and enjoyed thoroughbred and harness racing. He enjoyed watching his horses race and was a member of the Assiniboia Downs Turf Club. He is remembered by his many friends, guests, staff and family members. There will be a service of remembrance (celebration of life) on Friday, March 16 at 3:00 p.m. in the Johnson Hall of the Waterfront Complex, 94 First Avenue in Gimli. Flowers are gratefully declined but contributions in his memory to the Kidney Foundation or the Winnipeg Foundation would be appreciated. NEIL BARDAL INC. 949-2200
