Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCHESTER SAMUEL C.S. "SAM" SOUTHWORTH On Monday, March 12, 2001, St. Boniface Hospital, Winnipeg, Chester Samuel C.S. "Sam" Southworth, 78 years, of Morden. He was predeceased by his wife Catherine "Kit" Southworth (nee Jackson) and his parents Edwin and Gladys Southworth. He is survived by his three daughters, Lynn and her husband Willard Fraser of Wahalla, ND, and their children, Sean and Lynelle, Terri, Brian; Dale White of Winnipeg and her son Michael and Lisa; Kelly Southworth of Winnipeg; five great-grandchildren, Andrew and Matthew Fraser, Samantha, Brittany and Jessie White. Sam was born on October 28, 1922. He served in the Second World War from 1939 to 1945 overseas and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 11, Morden. Cremation has taken place. Memorial service will be held on Friday, March 16 at 2:00 p.m. at Wiebe Funeral Chapel, Morden with Rev. Ed Maddock officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Michael Mutcheson Memorial Scholarship Fund in care of Ray Mutcheson, 11 Leslee, Morden, Man., R6M 1P7.
