Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryETHEL EMILY HAY Our beloved wife, mother and grandmother passed into the presence of her Lord on Tuesday, March 13, 2001. She is lovingly remembered by her husband of 60 years, Stuart; three children, Jim and Lynne Hay of Boise, Idaho, Gordon and Mina Hay of Denver, Colorado, and Susan and David Browder of Louisville, Kentucky; eight grandchildren, Kari DeVol, Kevin Hay, Jennifer Sanderson, Tracy Candelaria, Scott Hay, Anne, Jonathon, and Christopher Browder; three great-grandchildren, Breanna, James and Griffin; four sisters, Helen Arthur of Calgary, Lorna Smith of Abbotsford, Mavis and Art Williams of Penticton, and Rosemary and Ed Silver of Kelowna; and two brothers, Leslie and Fran Grant of Seattle, and Fred and Gwen Grant of Calgary. Ethel was born March 13, 1913 in Alberta. She and Stuart were married in Calgary on November 6, 1940 and moved to Winnipeg in 1941. She was a member of St. James Gospel Chapel. Ethel was a loving wife and mother, much given to hospitality and serving others. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Faith Bible Camp, P.O. Box 42059, RPO Ferry Road, Winnipeg, MB R3J 3X7, or to a charity of your choice. Funeral service will be held Monday, March 19, at 3:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Interment and reception will follow.
