OLIVE (OLLIE) PETRUGA
Date of Passing: Mar 15, 2001
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryOLIVE (OLLIE) PETRUGA Olive (Ollie) Petruga (wife of Fred) passed away March 15, 2001 at 12:45 a.m. Predeceased by her parents and brother Jerry Kay. She worked at the Liquor Control Commission for 19 years until she retired in 1983. Her family was the most important thing in her life. Ollie and Fred did everything together - one not quite comfortable without the other close at hand. Ollie enjoyed life and put her "all" into everything she did - from a challenging daily game of Scrabble with her husband to her well tended house/yard. She enjoyed breakfasts on a regular basis with her sister Ann Decka and enjoyed the company of friends at the Blessed Virgin Mary. Ollie was very close to her children, very much a part of her grandchildrens lives and doted on her great-grandchildren. She could always be counted on for love, support and encouragement. Sadly missed by husband Fred, daughters Lynda Thompson (Herb) and Donna Gylywoychuk (Ernie), grandchildren Shelly Germscheid (Terry), Colleen Thompson (Gord Ledrew), Cory Gylywoychuk (Leslie Lyman) and Kim Hodges (Greg), great-grandchildren Taylor and MacKenzie Germscheid and many relatives and friends. You will always have a place in our heart - In our thoughts. Special thanks to the Police Department, Janice Epp, and to all who arrived at the home. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to a charity of your choice. Memorial service will be held on Monday, March 19, at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street. A gathering of family and friends will follow in the Glen Eden Reception Centre. Arrangements entrusted to: GLEN EDEN FUNERAL HOME 4477 MAIN STREET 338-7111
