SHIRLEY ANNE GITZEL On Thursday, March 15, 2001 at her residence, Shirley Anne Gitzel aged 64 years, beloved wife of Alfonse Gitzel of Carman, Manitoba. Besides her loving husband Alfonse, Shirley leaves to cherish her memory, one son Raymond and his wife Karen Gitzel of Carman; two daughters, Lori and her husband Randy Young of Roland, Cherryl and her husband George Thevenot of Stonewall; and nine grandchildren, Tristen, Quinton and Chelsey Gitzel; Lorissa, Jeremy, Johnathan and Matthew Young; Doug and Christine Thevenot. Also surviving are two brothers and eight sisters. She was predeceased by one sister, and her parents, William and Augusta Dreger. Funeral service will be held from Grace St. Johns Church (Grace Lutheran Church Building) in Carman on Tuesday, March 20, at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Jim Halmarson officiating. Interment will be in the Greenwood Cemetery, Carman. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to the Grace Lutheran Church Memorial Fund, Carman, MB ROG OJO.
