Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLLOYD H. PENNER Following a time of illness, Lloyd passed away on March 7, 2001 at Richmond General Hospital, B.C. He was born in Winnipeg, Man. on December 23, 1928. Predeceased by his parents, Peter U. and Hattie Penner. Shortly after graduation from high school he played semi-pro hockey for several years in Canada and in Scotland. His major working career was out of Vancouver with Air Canada over a period of 36 years, nine months as Flight Steward, later as Purser, then as overseas In-Flight Service Director. He enjoyed tennis and skiing and always kept score on sports activities. He will be remembered with much love by family in Winnipeg, his sister Joan Aarons; nieces, Wendy, Moira, Aven, and their families. Also with much affection by many friends. Cremation has taken place and in accordance with Lloyds wishes his ashes will be scattered at a favourite fishing spot near Gabriola Island.
