KATHERINE ELIZABETH ADDY Katherine (Kay) Addy passed peacefully away on Monday, February 26, 2001 at her residence in Jasper, AB. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her daughter Linda (Malcolm) Anderson of Jasper, AB; son Boyd (Deborah) Addy of Mandan, ND; three granddaughters, Kelly and Lindsay Anderson of Edmonton, AB, and Kimberley (George) Singletary of Long Beach, CA; her sister Carolyn (Harold) Braun of Rothesay, NB; as well as many other relatives and good friends throughout Canada and the United States. She also leaves to mourn her dear friend and companion Jim Cox of Jasper, AB as well as his many nieces and nephews. Katherine had a deep love for all things beautiful in this life and enjoyed writing about them or painting them. She also loved music and had her own unique style on the piano! She was a wonderful mom and grandma and a friend to all she met. Katherine was predeceased by her parents, Ross and Katherine Brown; her husband B. Fred Addy; her brother Roy Brown; her sister Edith Smith and her dear grandson Michael Addy. She is with all of them now. Good job, Mom. Rest in peace. A memorial service was held on Thursday, March 1 in Jasper. Interment will take place in May in Shediac, NB. In memory of Kay, donations may be made to The Jasper Health Care Foundation, Home Care Equipment Fund, care of Seton General Hospital, Box 310, Jasper, AB T0E 1E0 or Jasper United Church Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 967, Jasper, AB T0E 1E0.
