Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryNETTIE HOGABOAM (nee PYTEL) Peacefully, after a long and courageous battle with cancer, on Saturday, March 17, 2001, at the Riverview Health Centre, Nettie Hogaboam passed away at the age of 72 years. She was predeceased by her husband Gordon, son Brian, step-son Leslie and her parents. Nettie will be lovingly remembered by her son James; step-son Robert of California; sisters, Mary, Anne, Elsie of Calgary and Martha; sisters-in-law Vera and Marion; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. Nettie was born, raised and lived in Winnipeg most of her life. She was educated in East Kildonan. Nettie worked at Eatons and Sears where she made many lifelong friends. Even though Nettie lived a humble life, Netties door was always open and visitors were always welcome. Nettie was a very caring person to all family, friends and neighbours. She always worked very hard, and gave her best at work and at home. Nettie enjoyed working in the yard, and spending time with her sisters. She loved life and was always there with a smile, but her greatest love was reserved for her son James and her late son Brian. Thank-you Mom At Netties request cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 24, at 2:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. with Brother Greg Mulligan, OFM, Cap. officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Netties memory to the Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB R3B 2H8. The family would like to thank the staff at Riverview Health Centre and the VON for their care and kindness and special thanks to the Masons for providing transportation services.
