His faith relationship in God demonstrated itself in his love for reading the Scriptures, praying and Christian music which led him to a deep devotion to the work and mission of his church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Silver Heights Seventh-day Adventist Church building fund, 2140 Ness Ave., Winnipeg, R3J 0Z4. In tears we saw you sinking, We watched you fade away, You suffered much in silence, You fought so hard to stay. You faced your task with courage, Your spirit did not bend, But still you kept on fighting, Until the very end. God saw you getting tired, When a cure was not His will to be, So He put His arms around you, And whispered "Rest in Me". Thanks for all the years you gave us, And for the times we shared, We only pray that when you left us, You know how much we loved you You know how much we all cared.
