NICK MOSLENKO With his family by his side, Nick Moslenko, aged 70, died peacefully on Monday, March 19, 2001 at Concordia Hospital. He was predeceased by his wife Louise in 1969. Nick is survived by his daughter Kathy; sons, Carl (Cindy) and Bill (Cheryl) and grandchildren, Carla, Kristin, Corey and Kelly. He never got to meet new grandchildren, Renee, Joey and Cory. He will be missed by his brothers and sisters, John (Dorothy) of California, Willy (Dale) and Steve of British Columbia, George (Dorothy), Mary Bloor, Anne Mysak, Katie (Al) Kohut, Polly (John) Kohut and Mike (Tannis). He will be remembered by a great many nieces and nephews as well as many, many dear friends. Nick was a man with big hands and a big heart. He worked hard all of his life and provided well for his family. He will be in the thoughts of family, friends and acquaintances for many years to come. A Memorial Service for Nick will be held on Thursday, March 22 at 2:00 p.m. at Green Acres Funeral Chapel, Highway #1 East at Green Acres Lane. Interment will follow in Green Acres Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Concordia Hospital Foundation, or the Nursing Staff on 3 West, 1095 Concordia Ave., Winnipeg, MB, R2K 3S8. The family would like to say a special thank you to Glenn Moore and Darren Macklin for their help and support during the past months. The family would also like to thank the nurses and staff at Concordia Hospital for their understanding and assistance, and a special thank you to Irene Hibbert of Cancer Care at Health Sciences Centre for her compassion.
