Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLILLIAN PALLICK Unexpectedly on Saturday, March 17, 2001, at the Victoria General Hospital, Lillian Pallick of Winnipeg and formerly of Portage la Prairie, beloved wife of Peter Pallick, passed away at the age of 89 years. Visitation for family and friends will be held prior to the funeral service. Funeral service will be held in the Chapel of the Omega Funeral Home, Portage la Prairie, on Wednesday, March 21 at 1:30 p.m., with the Rev. Deacon Michael Strilec officiating. The service will terminate at the Chapel, followed by cremation. Lillian was born on January 12, 1912, daughter of Mary and Harry Tenosky at Portage la Prairie, where she was raised and received her education. In 1946 she married Peter Pallick and they made their home in Portage. In 1956 they moved to reside in Winnipeg until the present. Lillian was a member of the Fort Rouge Legion, the Fort Rouge Leisure Centre and the Senior Park Allies Bowling League. She was an avid gardener enjoying growing flowers and tending to her violets. She loved to have people over for dinner, cooking for her family and friends and especially cooking for holiday meals. Predeceased by three brothers, Bill, Mike, Carl Tenosky; sister Olga Mitchell. She leaves to mourn her passing her beloved husband Peter of 55 years. Also surviving are two sisters, Helen (Joe) Sagal, Anne Holyk, all of Winnipeg; and numerous nieces and nephews. She will be sadly missed by her many close friends and neighbours. Should friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to the charity of their choice.
