JOHN ALFRED REICHERT 1909 - 2001 Passed away peacefully at Tabor Home, Morden, Man. on March 18, 2001 at the age of 91. John was born September 2, 1909 in Thornhill, Man. He was predeceased by his wife Isabel in July, 1990; brothers, George, Henry, Cecil, Clifford and Robert in infancy. He leaves to mourn his sisters, Lillian Unger, Edna Unger and Elsie Stambuski; brothers, Edward (Margaret), Howard (Isabel), Russell (Irene) and numerous nieces and nephews. John was active in farming and mink ranching; when he retired to Morden in 1968 he sold crop insurance. John became an avid photographer and a very active member of the Morden Horticultural Society. John devoted his life to looking after Isabel, and when she passed away John was a lost soul. Viewing will be held Tuesday, March 20, 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. at Wiebe Funeral Chapel, Morden (1050 Thornhill St.). Funeral service will be held Wednesday, March 21 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Pauls United Church, Morden, Man. with Rev. Jim Penhale officiating. Interment will be held at Hillside Cemetery, Morden. In lieu of flowers, those who wish to may make a donation to St. Pauls United Church Memorial Fund (353 Thornhill St., Morden, MB, R6M 1M8) or Tabor Home (230 9th St., Morden, MB, R6M 1Y3).
