DAISY OGRODNIK (nee LECOY) Peacefully, on Sunday, March 18, 2001, Daisy Ogrodnik, beloved wife of Steve, passed away with her family by her side at the Concordia Hospital, Winnipeg, Man. She will be sadly missed by her husband Steve; her children, Linden (Gladys) and Shelley (Rob) her sister Ila, as well as her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents, sister Helen, son Barry and grandson Jeffrey. Mom enjoyed many things such as cooking and baking, fiddle music, hockey, tending flowers, dancing, wearing vibrant colours and she always had time to joke and laugh. Mom loved life and people. Her love for others was unconditional and boundless. In any conversation with Mom, you could be assured of a willing ear and a compassionate heart. Family and friends have all been recipients of her special brand of kindness and generousity. Thank you Mom for everything. We love you and will miss you always. Prayers will be said on Thursday, March 22 at 7:00 p.m. at the Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1422 Main St., Winnipeg, Man. Funeral service will be held on Friday, March 23 at 2:00 p.m. at the St. Michaels Church, Victoria Beach, Man. with interment following at the Victoria Beach Cemetery.
