Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLENA JOANNA NAHIRNEY (HESHKA) After a lengthy illness with Parkinsons, Lena passed away on March 19, 2001, at the age of 82, at Kildonan Personal Care Centre. She was predeceased by her husband Steve; a granddaughter Corinne; brothers, Bill, Joe, Peter, Wilfred and sister Mary. She is survived by her daughter Phyllis (Earl) McCaskill; grandson Warren (Kelly) great-granddaughters, Cara and Amy; son Ken (Ursula) brothers, Nick, Mike and John; and many nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 24 at 3:00 p.m. at Birds Hill United Church, 2105 Burton Ave. Cremation has taken place. Lenas family wishes to extend their sincere thanks to the staff of Kildonan Personal Care Centre for their excellent care of Lena. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Birds Hill United Church Building Fund.
