WILLIAM (BILL) HREHORUK Peacefully, on Sunday, March 18, 2001, after a lengthy illness, Bill Hrehoruk passed away at the St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 75 years. Bill is survived by his daughter, Denise of Winnipeg; sons, David of Winnipeg, Douglas (Eunice) of Gimli, Dale (Phyllis and daughter, Christine) of Windsor, ON. He is also survived by his sisters, Olga (Eddie) Page and Elsie Shack, and by his brother Peter (Katherine) all of Winnipeg. Bill was predeceased by his loving wife of 43 years, Doreen in 1997 and by his brother-in-law, Myron Shack. Bill was born and raised in Malonton, MB before he moved to Winnipeg. He worked for several years as a custodial engineer for Eatons, Shelter Corp. and Forest Park Mall. A loving husband and father, Bill was a simple man full of life and energy who always enjoyed a good joke. He enjoyed spending his summers at his cabin in Winnipeg Beach. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at the St. Ignatius Roman Catholic Church (Corydon and Stafford) on Friday, March 23. Father Joseph Johnson S.J. will celebrate the Memorial Mass at 9:30 a.m. The service will terminate at the church. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made in Bills memory to the Manitoba Heart and Stroke Foundation, 301 - 352 Donald St., Winnipeg, R3B 2H8 or to a charity of ones choice.
