She was born June 15, 1924 in the village of Dhudike (Dist. Moga) in Punjab, India. She was predeceased by her husband Sandhua Singh; sisters, Kartar Kaur and Bachan Kaur; brothers, Joginder Singh and Ajmair Singh. Gurdial is survived by her brother Jagir Singh Toor; children, Malkiat Singh Gill, Darshan Singh Gill, Satwant Kaur Grewal, Kuldip Kaur Sekhon and Surjit Singh Gill; grandchildren, Pinky, Roopy, Karin, Narlove, Raju, Amanda, Rinky, Pinder, Happy, Deepy, Joti, Lucky, Jugga, Neetu; great-grandchildren, Suman, Jasmin, Sunny, Sonu, Aman, Bobby.
