Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWASYLENA (ELSIE) PERISTY It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our dear mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Wasylena (Elsie) Peristy of Winnipeg, MB on Sunday, March 18, 2001, at the age of 90 years. She is survived by daughter Nadia (Glen) Kitching of Thunder Bay, ON; brother Paul (Helen) Burdeny of Delta, BC; sister Nancy (Metro) Kozak of Dauphin, MB; five grandchildren, Gary (Mary) Kitching of Burlington, ON, Garry (Judi) Peristy, Robert (Pam) Peristy, Kelly (John) Minski, Linda (Gary) Labossiere, all of Winnipeg; five great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Friends wishing to pay their respects may call at the Sneath-Strilchuk Funeral Chapel, Dauphin, MB, on Thursday, March 22 from 7:00 to 7:30 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Friday, March 23 at 10:00 a.m. in the Saints Peter & Paul Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Ethelbert, MB. Rev. Michael Lomaszkiewicz will officiate and interment will follow in the Ethelbert Parish Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated. The Sneath-Strilchuk Funeral Service, Dauphin, MB have care of the arrangements.
