Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryVIOLET PAULINE PARADIS (nee POLAK) February 12, 1933 - March 18, 2001 It is with sadness that we the family announce the peaceful passing of our beloved Mother and Grandmother, Violet Paradis, on Sunday, March 18, 2001 at the St. Boniface Hospital. Violet was predeceased by her husband Gordon in 1997 and by her parents, Emily and Karl Polak. She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter Cynthia Schulz, husband Harry and their children, Christopher, Todd, Daniel and Stephanie; daughter Nancy Dover, husband Steven and their daughter Kathleen; and by her son Daryl. Also surviving are her sisters, Martha Dudek-Donda (Louie), Blanche Andrews (Hugh) her brothers, Edward Polak (Kathy) and Donald Polak (Dolly). Violet was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who took her greatest joy in her family. Cremation has taken place. A private family service was held with interment at Green Acres Memorial Gardens. Flowers gratefully declined. Those wishing, donations may be made to the St. Boniface Hospital Research Foundation, 409 Tache Avenue, Winnipeg, MB, R2H 2A6. The family wishes to especially thank Dr. John Foerster and Dr. F.M. Crow and the staff of the Palliative Care Unit of St. Boniface Hospital for their wonderful care.
