BETTY McCLUSKEY (nee WHITE) With her family at her side, Betty entered into eternal rest on March 19, 2001. Born in Wiarton, Ont. on December 29, 1927, Betty was predeceased by her husband Gordon of 45 years in July, 1995; her grandson Billy in May, 1996; her brothers, Jim and Drury, and her sister Adele. Her memory will be cherished by her daughter Sharon; sons, Bill (Pat), Bob and Barry (Rosa) grandkids, Derek, David, Sharlene, Daniel; Shannon, Preston, Trisha and Amanda; her siblings, Bob, Jack, Tom and Anne; special friend Wilf. A golden heart stopped beating, Two gentle hands at rest, God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best. Your presence we all miss, Your memory we treasure, Well hold you in our hearts And memories forever. The family extends sincere thanks to VON Nurse Darlene, Agnes, Sylvia from Homecare, Liz from Hospice, and the compassionate staff at Riverview 3E. Our family extends sincere thanks to Bettys daughter-in-law Patricia for her care and devotion during the last six months in her home and to Bettys granddaughter Shannon for her assistance with all the medical appointments and treatments. According to Bettys wishes, cremation has taken place. Memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 24 at 2:00 p.m. in Souris, Man. Kowalchuk Funeral Home, Souris in care of arrangements.
