Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOHN EDWIN PROCTER Peacefully on Wednesday, March 21, 2001 at the Grace Hospital, John Edwin Procter passed away at the age of 87. He was predeceased by his parents and his three sisters, all of England. John will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 55 years, Wietske (Joan) daughter Ingrid her husband Garry; grandchildren, Kevin (Jeanna), Duane (Marnie) and Candace; great-grandchildren, Isabella and Kayleigh; as well as many family members in Holland and England. John immigrated to Canada in 1930. He served in the Second World War with the Canadian Army Medical Corps. John was part of the D-Day Landing in Normandy. He served in England, Holland, Belgium and Germany. He retired as a X-Ray Technician at the Deer Lodge Hospital after 22 years. He was a very caring, loving and giving man, and he will be fondly remembered by all who knew him. A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 23 at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. The family wish to express their sincere gratitude to the Grace Hospital, Palliative Care, Fourth Floor, West Wing for their kindness and care. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Grace General Hospital, 300 Booth Dr., Winnipeg, MB R3J 3M7, or to a charity of your choice.
