Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryKATHERINE BURKOWSKI Peacefully on Wednesday, March 21, 2001 at the Hunter Memorial Hospital, Teulon, with family at her side, Kay Burkowski, aged 81 years of Teulon and formerly of Komarno, MB. Born June 17, 1919 at Malonton, she lived in the Komarno District all her life until retiring to Teulon in 1996. Predeceased by her husband Joseph in 1986 and by an infant son Stanley in 1940. Surviving to mourn her loss her children, Rosemary Maskow (Todd) of Inwood, Norma Burkowski (Ed) of Winnipeg, Elaine Poirier (Dennis) of Stony Mountain, Pat Zuk (Jim) of Komarno, Val Harasym (Jim) of Arborg; six grandchildren, Kaleigh (her little princess), Dylan (her little man), Andy (Rebecca), Jamie, Joanne, and Jonathon. Funeral service will be held on Monday, March 26 at 11:00 a.m. in the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Teulon. Pastor B. Rasmussen will officiate with interment to follow in St. Stephens Cemetery, Pleasant Home. When I Must Leave You When I must leave you for a little while - Please do not grieve and shed wild tears And hug your sorrow to you through the years But start out bravely with a gallant smile And for my sake and in my name Live on and do all things the same, Feed not your loneliness on empty days, But fill each waking hour in useful ways, Reach out your hand in comfort and in cheer And I in turn will comfort you and hold you near; And never, never be afraid to die, For I am waiting for you in the sky!
