RICHARD CHARLES (DICK) THOMAS Suddenly on March 22, 2001 Richard passed away at the age of 49 years. Richard was predeceased by his father Wally in 1975 and his mother Dot in 1979. He leaves to mourn his passing his brothers, Garry (Shirley), Hugh and his sister Bev (Cam Wait) his nephews, Rick, Rob and Scott Thomas and Chris Wait; nieces, Christine Thomas and Stacey Wait also a great-nephew Mathew. Richard will also be missed by many other family and friends and by his pet "EBBY". Richard had worked at Bristol Aerospace for the last three years. He was a member of the C.A.W. Local 3005 and a member of The Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 30. Richards favourite pastimes included fishing, watching his Boston Bruins play hockey and making people laugh, whether it be at their expense or his. Memorial Service will be held on Monday, March 26 at 2:00 p.m. at Klassen Funeral Chapel, 1897 Henderson Highway. The family would like to thank Dr. Marianne Krahn and Denise Campbell at Cancer Care Manitoba for all their help and support also to Richards V.O.N. Lynn for all of her help at home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cancer Care Manitoba, 409 Tache Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 2A6 or to a charity of choice. You suffered much in silence, you fought so hard to stay.
