PHILLIP COHAN On his 99th birthday, Phillip Cohan, eldest of five brothers, passed away peacefully ending an 81-year hospitalization. Phillip was predeceased by his entire immediate family; parents, David and Raissa Cohan; brothers, Mitchell Cohan, Raymond Cohan, Max Cowan and Morris Cowan. He leaves to remember him, sisters-in-law, Rae Cowan and Miriam Cohan; nephews, David Cowan, Dennis Cowan, Coleman Cohan; nieces, Beverley Doctoroff and Claris Cowan. He will also be remembered by many great nieces and nephews who, unfortunately, he was never given the opportunity of meeting. Phillip was a bright young man who had, among other things, a great interest in Astrology and because of the times, had all hopes and dreams taken from him. Many thanks to the wonderful love and care he received from his nurses to whom he was indebted for his every need. May you finally rest in peace, Uncle Phillip. Funeral service took place at Shaarey Zedek Cemetery on Thursday, March 22.
