Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBETTY SHATKOSKI Peacefully, after a lengthy illness, Betty has gone to join her husband John of 50 years. Betty passed away on Wednesday, March 21, 2001 at Concordia Hospital with her friends Jean, Cathy and Steve at her side. She was a kind, loving and generous person, who lived her life to the fullest each and every day. She was known to be as My Auntie Betty to many, many young people and adults not so young anymore. She will be sorely missed. Betty will be lovingly remembered by her step mother-in-law Carrie Shatkoski of Elphinstone, MB, brothers-in-law Tony (Nancy) of Mount Hope, Ontario, Lorne and Rodger (Nancy) of Elphinstone, MB, many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family - Mrs. Mary Sitar and Julie of Elma, MB, Mrs. Jean Leitch, Victor and Phyllis Kastalanych and family, Steve and Cathy Maydaniuk and family, Clarence and Vi Winters, all of Winnipeg and Phyllis of B.C. Predeceased by her husband John on September 15, 1999, her parents, and her sisters Stella and Marg. Special "Thanks" to the staff at the Concordia Hospital for their loving, daily care to Betty, it was graciously appreciated. Cremation has taken place and at Bettys request there will be no service.
