PAUL WYRYHA It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of our beloved Husband, Father and Grandfather Paul Wyryha on March 22, 2001 at the Bethesda Hospital in Steinbach. He was born in Sarto, Manitoba on September 27, 1938. He will be sadly missed by his beloved wife Phyllis; daughter Darlene and her children Andrea, Nicholas and Tonya; son Ronald (Liette), children Jeanne and David; son Taras (Larisa) son Ernest (Donna), children, Matthew, Sarah and Adam. He is also survived by his stepchildren, Douglas (Doreen), children Larissa, Brendan and Carly, Brian (Gail) son Brodie, Corey (Shelly), children Caelan and Sydney. Also surviving are Pauls brothers, John (Maryanne), Taras (Verna) and William along with numerous nieces and nephews, as well as many friends both personal and business. He was predeceased by his parents Wasyl and Eudokia, his sister Jean and infant brother Walter as well as step-granddaughter Baily. Paul worked at various jobs and in 1968 started his own business known as P.M. & L Reinforcing. He enjoyed the challenges it represented and became well known and successful. He was also instrumental in the building of the New Sarto Hall. This was a personal achievement for him and one he was (we are) very proud of. He served as president for a number of years, a position he held at the time of his passing. Paul was so looking forward to his goddaughter Dorothys wedding in May. He will be looking down and smiling and wishing them well. Pallbearers will be Andy Viallet, John Trohubiak, Maurice Wyryha, Myron Smuk, Norm Holme, Douglas Chornoboy. Crossbearer will be Paul Rekrut. Bannerbearers will be Fred Petrishen and Paul Osadchuk. Prayers will be held at Loewen Funeral Chapel in Steinbach on Sunday, March 25 at 7:30 p.m. Divine Liturgy will be sung at the St. Michaels Ukrainian Catholic Church in Sarto, Manitoba on Monday, March 26 at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Father Ihor Royik officiating. A special thank you to Dr. Rubinger, clinic nurse Joanne and staff on GD6 at Health Science Centre, also to Dr. Dyck, Dr. Krahn, Maggie Smith, Anne Plett and all the nurses at Bethesda Hospital for all their compassion and care. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Pauls name to Cancercare Manitoba, 1098-675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9.
