SUSAN ANNE TYSLAU Mrs. Susan Anne Tyslau (nee Myschuk), beloved wife of Mr. Ron Tyslau and loving mother of Andrew & Aaron of Lethbridge, passed away after a courageous battle, surrounded by her family, at the Foothills Hospital in Calgary on Thursday, March 22, 2001 at the age of 42 years. Susan is survived by her parents, Bill (Eleanor) Myschuk of Winnipeg, MB, brother Chris (Kelly) Myschuk of Kelowna, BC, twin sister Sharon (Don) Lavigne of Edmonton, AB, brother Randy Myschuk of Edmonton, AB, godfather Bob (Norma) Claus of Cobblehill, BC, and godmother Anna Myszczuk of Winnipeg, MB. Susan is also survived by Rons family, parents Ed (Doris) Tyslau of Winnipeg, MB, brothers and sisters, Ellie (Larry) Hackie of Winnipeg, MB, Edwin (Janet) Tyslau of Winnipeg, MB, Carol Tyslau of Calgary, AB, Darren Tyslau of Calgary, AB, Richard (Cheryl) Tyslau of Winnipeg, MB as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Susan was born in Winnipeg on October 23, 1958. She graduated from Miles MacDonnell Collegiate in 1976 and began working for Great West Life. In 1980 she married her high school sweetheart, Ron. Her working career included service with Super Store in Winnipeg and Effem Foods in Calgary and Sherwood Park. In 1994 the family moved to Lethbridge. Here she continued working until 1997 when she was diagnosed with a rare autoimmune disease, Sjogrens Syndrome. Even during her illness, Susan continued to show tremendous love and support towards her family. She was a great inspiration to others - especially her sons. She was highly involved in the soccer community and often attended games in spite of her physical limitations. Susan impacted many lives and will be greatly missed. "In silence she suffered, in patience she bore, Til God called her home to suffer no more." A Memorial Service will be held at MCKILLOP UNITED CHURCH, 2329 - 15 Avenue South, Lethbridge, Alberta on Monday, March 26 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor AJ Poettcker officiating. Interment to follow at Mountain View Cemetery. If friends so desire, Memorial Tributes may be made to the Foothills Intensive Care Unit, 1403 - 29th Street N.W. Calgary, Alberta T2N 2T9.
