Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGERTRUDE LONDON (nee WOODHALL) September 6, 1933 - March 23, 2001 Survived by husband Arthur London; son Gary London (Melanie Carriere) daughter Glenda Bork (Gerry) grandchildren, Steven, Mellissa, Matthew, Dakota; brothers, Wilfred, Gordon, Ralph; sisters, Agnes Ostapovich and Violet Derhak; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father Alex Woodhall; mother Annie Woodhall; brother Bob Woodhall and brother Clarence Woodhall. Her last job was at National Drugs and she left there to devote herself to her family in 1969. Her work didnt end there as she continued to work as Modern Truckings Business Partner and meeting every need of her family. One of Moms favourite pastimes was playing bingo. Gertrude was a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother. She was extremely close to her only granddaughter. Loved by all who met her, she will be missed by her family, friends and bingo friends. Our thanks go to Karen Krahn for everything she has done for Mom, Carole Carriere for her assistance at a time of need and to the First Responders. Funeral service will be held in the Sparling United Church, 1609 Elgin Ave., Thursday, March 29 at 2:00 p.m. Rev. Dietrich Desmarais will officiate with interment to follow in the Brookside Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Gary London, Gerry Bork, Robbie Krahn, Michael Krahn, Kevin Krahn, Robbie King and Ralph Woodhall. Honorary pallbearers will be Ray Carriere and Ross London. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to a charity of ones choice. MacKenzie Funeral Home, Stonewall in care of arrangements.
