ROBERT JAMES BARNETT It is with deep regret and sorrow that we announce the passing of Bob Barnett on March 24, 2001. Bob is survived by two sisters, Ethel Johnson and Ann Breakey. He was predeceased by his parents, Jim and Myrtle; brother Bill; niece Debby and Chuck. He will be sadly missed by all especially his wife Brenda; son Jamie (Carla) daughter Shelly (Jason) grandchildren, Jenna, Brendan, Kyle, Victoria and Nicholas; sister Ethel (Benny) sister-in-law Marge; brother-in-law Richard (Shirley) brother-in-law Ron (Terri) and mother-in-law Nettie and Aunt Ethel, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, especially Bill and Yvette and Wayne. Bob wished everyone to know he felt he had a good life. He enjoyed his earlier years fishing and hunting and operating Sportsmans Corner and his later years at the cabin on Lake Manitoba. According to Bobs wishes cremation has taken place and no funeral service will be held. A gathering of family and close friends will be held at a later date. Flowers are gratefully declined. If desired a donation may be made to the Manitoba Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Association. Wojciks Funeral Home was in care of arrangements.
