TED REVAK It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of our beloved husband, father and grandfather, Ted Revak at the age of 63 at his home on March 26, 2001. His memory will be cherished by his loving wife Helen; his children, Glenn and Karen (Allan) Yascheshyn and his granddaughters, Jennifer and Katie. He will also be missed by his sister Olga (Joe) Lucas and brothers-in-law, Steve Sohor, Ron Kuxhaus, Ken (Joyce) Anderson, Nick (Anne) Anderson as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Ted was predeceased by his parents, Pearl and Fred; his brother Steve; sister Nellie (John) Halliday and two sisters-in-law, Mary Sohor and Olga Kuxhaus. After Teds retirement from the department of government services Teds passion turned to the handyman side of life. His efforts have left the family with many cherished gifts to be enjoyed for many years to come. His love for carpentry was not overshadowed by his enjoyment watching his granddaughters grow all the while cheering in his own way in the girls hockey and soccer. He was a dedicated hard working and generous family man who always had time to lend a hand to family and friends. He took pride in his weekend efforts at the beach and his meticulous work mirrored his personality. Ted will be missed by all who knew him. The family would like to thank the Emergency Response Team for their professional and expedient efforts. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Teds memory to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, 301-352 Donald Street, R3B 2H8 or to Cancercare Manitoba, 109-675 McDermot Ave., Wpg., MB, R3E 0V9.
