JOHN SOSIAK It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our husband, father and grandfather, John Sosiak, on Tuesday, March 27, 2001 at the St. Boniface Hospital. John was born in Transcona on June 26, 1917. He was a flight officer during the Second World War where he received the Distinguished Flying Medal. John worked as a carman in the CN Shops until his retirement. The family wishes to thank the doctors, nurses and orderlies in 5E, as well as the Dialysis Unit at the St. Boniface Hospital, who gave Dad encouragement and hope during his stay. Memorial donations made to the Dialysis Unit at St. Boniface Hospital would be greatly appreciated.
