GASTON NESTOR LEPLA March 11,1936 - March 23,2001 Gaston passed peacefully with his family by his side after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born and educated in Ste. Rose du Lac, MB. He was a very talented man which showed in his carpentry, gardening and finally with Cobbes Plumbing. He was a gentle, loving man who liked to laugh and joke. He leaves to mourn his wife Sadie; his children, Doreen (Dan) Gagnon, Lionel (Kim) Lepla, Gerald (Lisa) Lepla, Dale (Joyce) Lepla, Larry (Rob) Lepla; stepchildren, Desmond Kushniryk, Donald (Tracy) Kushniryk, Alanna (Dennis) McConnell; and many grandchildren; sister Bertha Cottyn. Predeceased by his parents, Jerome and Paula, and stepson Edward. Family would like to thank P.D.G.H., Palliative Care, and Home Care for all their help and support. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Portage Palliative Care. Cremation has taken place. Service will be held at Army Navy Hall, 25 3rd Street N.E., Portage La Prairie, MB, March 29 at 1:30 p.m. Interment will take place at a later date.
