AUDREY VIVIAN MUIR (nee EYKELBOOM) It is with great sadness that our family announces the passing of our loving wife, mother and grandmother Audrey, after a short illness, on Tuesday, March 27, 2001, at the Health Sciences Centre at the age of 71 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband Bill of 45 years of marriage; sons, Blair, Robert (Tammy), and was Nana to two precious grandsons, Jordyn and Bradley. Audrey also leaves to mourn her cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends. She was predeceased by her mother and father in 1974 and by her sister Peggy in 1988. On August 15, 1929, Audrey was born in Souris, Man., and then grew up in Elgin, Man. She studied nursing in Morden and after graduation, she worked at Princess Elizabeth and Hartney Hospitals. She also worked many hours of private nursing in Winnipeg. Audrey had a great love for dogs, and for a few years she bred black miniature poodles. From this hobby a successful dog grooming business was startedTiffanys Canine Coiffures, which she worked at for over 30 years. In compliance with Audreys wishes no formal funeral service will be held. Our family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and all the wonderful staff on GD4 for all their help and concern to make her final days as easy as possiblein particular, Drs. Houston and Vanameyde. A big thanks to our friends for flowers, cards, letters and the many phone callsyour concern was appreciated. A special thanks to the Smith family for all their love and support.
