Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryIN LOVING MEMORY OF FREDA CHARLOTTE RUDDOCK (MYRDAL) Freda (Sigfidur) Myrdal was born on Wednesday, March 31, 1915 in Riverton Man., to Kristin Margaret Myrdal and John Gulugur Myrdal. She passed away quietly at home on Wednesday, March 21, 2001 with her family after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Freda was predeceased by her Mother and Father; her brothers, Jacob and Vernhard Myrdal and sisters, Anna McBryan and Nina Young. She was also recently predeceased by her husband of 60 years Albert Ruddock. She leaves to mourn her passing her children, Gerald Ruddock, Bonnie Bancroft, Carey Ruddock, John McBryan, Kristine Kohaly and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Also left to mourn are her friends and many people whose lives she has touched. One of her pleasures in life was making sure that anyone who visited was immediately given something to eat so we ask that instead of flowers, donations be made in Fredas memory to Winnipeg Harvest, phone 982-3662. Freda was an extraordinary person. She was a talented writer and artist but those of us who knew Freda will remember her most for her generous and caring nature. It was truly comforting just to be in her presence or to hear her voice. Her loving kindness lingers on in all our aching hearts. Fredas own words, "Death is not extinguishing the light. It is putting out the lamp because dawn has come. We all must leave this earthly life whether we like it or not. So to all who are left when I must go, remember I have loved you dearly and I do not leave you by choice. God be with you all." A memorial service will be held at Knysh Funeral Chapel, 1020 Main St., in Winnipeg, on Saturday, March 31, at 1:00 p.m. KNYSH FUNERAL CHAPEL 582-0973
