VICTOR LAWRENCE RYHORSKI Victor passed away peacefully at his cabin on Lac LaRonge, Sask., on Tuesday, March 20, 2001, at the age of 70 years. Vic was born in Rosthern, Sask., and grew up in Porcupine Plain and Kelvington, Sask. He graduated from the University of Saskatchewan before embarking on a successful career as a professional engineer, working for Loram Construction out of Calgary for many years, before retiring in 1986. He was enjoying his retirement, spending many months of the year at his island retreat in LaRonge, surrounded by good friends and family. Vic is survived by his mother Mary Ryhorski of Saskatoon; his beloved children, Mark Ryhorski of Toronto and Detroit and Jennifer (Andrew) Grasby of Calgary and their mother Helga Baldwinson; his sisters, Rose (Alec) Melrose of Saskatoon and Bernice Bracewell of Calgary and nieces and nephews, Garry (Denise), Dwayne, Doug, Sherry (Hank), Janine and Charlene. If friends so desire, memorial tributes in Vics memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Saskatchewan. The funeral service was held on Saturday, March 24 at 2:00 p.m. from Park Funeral Chapel, 311 Third Avenue North. Interment followed at Woodlawn Cemetery. Arrangements were entrusted to PARK FUNERAL CHAPEL, 244-2103, Saskatoon, Sask.
