MARY MARGUERITE CASTILION (nee RUSK) Suddenly on March 28, 2001, Mary passed away at the Selkirk General Hospital at the age of 86. Marys memory will be cherished by her loving husband Ambrose of 58 years; her daughter Jean E. (Gerald) Dola; grandson Trevor Dola, all of Selkirk; sister Florence Menzies of Nanaimo, B.C. and brother Jack Rusk of Halifax, N.S. She will also be missed by other extended family and special friends. She was predeceased by her sisters Eleanor, Kathy and Jean and her brother Clarence. Mary was born on October 12, 1914 in Gainsborough, SK. During the Second World War she moved to Boston, Massachusetts, where she met and married Ambrose in 1942. She lived in Massachusetts, Nanaimo, B.C. and Winnipeg before finally moving to Selkirk to live with her daughter and family. Mary was very active in church in her younger years and was a past Regent of the Catholic Womens Guild. In later years she was very happy to be a grandma and she loved her grandson Trevor dearly. It made her very happy that she and Ambrose could live with Jean, Gerald and Trevor. She was an outgoing friendly and loving wife, mother and grandmother and we were all blessed to have her in our lives. Many thanks to everyone of Homecare in Selkirk, especially Ollie, and all the wonderful ladies who have been to our home so many times. The family also express their sincere appreciation to Dr. Nesbitt, Dr. Matter, the emergency room staff and paramedics from Selkirk General Hospital for their valiant efforts. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to C.N.I.B., 1080 Portage Ave., Winnipeg, MB, R3G 9Z9. Mary has gone home to God but we will miss her and remember her always.
