FRANK HOBAN Peacefully, at his residence, with his family by his side, Frank passed away at the age of 66. Beloved husband of Shirley for 45 years, he also leaves to cherish his memory, his sons, David (Barbara), Gary and Derek (Kimberly) his beloved grandchildren: grandsons, Patrick and his mother Debby, Joseph, James and their mother Margaret; granddaughters, Tracy, Mandy and Domenique. Frank is also survived by his sisters, Maggie, Anna, Nora, Ellen and Mary; his brothers, Terry, Lawrence, Dennis and Gregory; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Son of the late James and Mary Hoban, Frank was predeceased by his brothers, James and Stan Hoban; his sister Kay Miller; his niece Brenda Bryan; brother-in-law Bill Bolonchuk; and most recently, his mother-in-law Molly Bolonchuk. Residing in Brooklands all of his life, Frank made many lifelong friends, not only in the community, but through his career as a sales representative for Selkirk Metal and as co-owner and founder of Prairie Fireplaces. Frank learned, at a very young age to work hard and never give up. He did this to the very end without losing his sense of humour. The family would like to thank all our relatives, neighbours and friends for their support during Franks illness, especially our Kimberly, who helped make his last days as comfortable as possible. Our thanks also to all the staff at the Palliative Care Program, especially Shirley Toews. According to Franks wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Monday, April 2 at 1:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Interment will follow in Brookside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Franks memory to CancerCare Manitoba, P.O. Box 2248, Stn. Main, Winnipeg, MB R3C 9Z9.   • I am researching Hoban Family history, and Frank may have been a relation of mine. My name is Eleanor Doyle, Gowran, County Kilkenny and my mother was a Hoban.
