EVA M. DICKINSON June 27, 1903 - March 28, 2001 Sadly we announce the passing of our mother, Eva M. Dickinson in the St. Boniface General Hospital on Wednesday, March 28, 2001 at the age of 97 years. Mother was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia on June 27, 1903. Eva taught school for many years in Nova Scotia before moving to Winnipeg. She taught kindergarten at David Livingstone and also music and art in Norwood, until her retirement at the age of 67. In other accomplishments, Eva has two published books about her life in the Winnipeg Public Library. She is survived by: her daughter, Joyce, her son, Keith; her granddaughter, Eileen (Gord) Oldach; and great grandson, Kurt of Edmonton. We wish to thank Dr. Davey, the Home Care Staff, especially Odelia, Suzanne and Ron who cared for Eva for almost five years. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 3 at 2:00 p.m. in St. Mary Magdalene Church, 3 St. Vital Road with Rev. Bob Webster officiating. Interment will take place in Green Acres Memorial Gardens.
