CECIL RAE (MAC) MCINTYRE Cecil Rae (Mac) McIntyre passed away unexpectedly at St. Boniface Hospital on March 27, 2001 in his 64th year. Predeceased by his parents, Katherine Mary and John Cecil. He is survived by his sister Shirley (Herb) Barnett of North Vancouver, B.C. and his brother Keith (Margaret) of Kincardine, Ont., and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Throughout his career, Mac worked in the Hotel and Hospitality Industry primarily at the Pembina Hotel in Fort Garry. He was a sportsman and a sports fan. In his younger days he played hockey, coached, played and umpired baseball. In recent years he played golf and curled. He was an active member of the Carmen Golf Club, the Pembina Curling Club and Fort Garry Legion No. 90. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 31, 2001 at 1:00 p.m. in the Leatherdale Gardiner Funeral Chapel, 1501 Waverley St. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Cecils memory to CancerCare Manitoba Foundation, 100 Olivia St., Winnipeg, MB, R3E OV9.
