EDWARD LAWRENCE IVANCHUK
Date of Passing: Mar 15, 2001
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEDWARD LAWRENCE IVANCHUK It is with deep sorrow we announce the sudden passing of our only dearly loved brother, Edward Lawrence, on March 15, 2001 at St. Josephs Hospital, Hamilton, Ont. Burial services were held at White Chapel Memorial Gardens in Hamilton. Edward was the only son of the late Peter and Katherine Ivanchuk of Winnipeg. He will be dearly missed by his two sisters, Nancy Shirley and Doris Katherine of Winnipeg. Edwards wife Blanche predeceased him. At the age of 18 he and his life-long friend, Joe Prucyk, left Winnipeg to seek work in Ontario. He was a kind, caring and compassionate man and he had a real zest for life. He enjoyed his trips to Venice and to London, England. He loved to swim and to play pool and he enjoyed taking French lessons and playing on his Baldwin piano. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends, both in Hamilton and in Winnipeg. Loved and remembered always. It broke our hearts to lose you, But you did not go alone, As part of us went with you, The day God called you Home.
