ANNA PEARSON (nee KONDRATUK) Mrs. Anna Pearson, beloved wife of the late Edward Pearson, formerly of East Kildonan, Mb., passed away peacefully on Friday, March 30, 2001 at Vista Park Lodge, Winnipeg at the age of 94 years. Anna was born on October 7, 1906 at Brokenhead, Man. She married Edward on January 8, 1949. For many years, Anna enjoyed working the sewing industry in Winnipeg. Anna was a kind and generous person and a loving sister and aunty. During her retirement, she enjoyed her home, flowers and needlepoint. She was predeceased by her husband Edward on August 7, 1986; her parents, Michael and Xenia Kondratuk; her three brothers, Bill, Paul, Ben and her three sisters, Lena Nikodem, Christine Hennessey and Mary Kondratuk. She is survived by her two sisters Theresa Rutledge of Toronto, Ont., and Alexandria Belton of Winnipeg, Man., one brother Steve (Leda) Kondratuk of Beausejour, Man.; also six nieces, four nephews and their families. Prayers will be said on Monday, April 2 at 7:00 p.m., at the Sobering Funeral Chapel, Beausejour. Divine liturgy will be sung on Tuesday, April 3 at 11:00 a.m., at the Holy Ghost Ukrainian Catholic Church, Beausejour with Rev. Fr. John Sholdak, the celebrant. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery. The family would like to thank the caring staff at Vista Park Lodge.
