WILLIAM THOMAS HILL It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, and grandad, William Thomas Hill, at age 64 at his home on March 29, 2001. Left to cherish his memory are his wife Edna; children, Brenda (Lance), Tammy (Trevor), David (Marcia), Sherry; and grandchildren, Michaela, Emily, Marijka, Kiersten, Mason, Holly, and Jocelyn. He will also be missed by his mother Rosetta; and his brothers, Bob (Doreen) and Jack (Mary) and sisters, Millie (Hugh), Betty (Adelard) and Barb; as well as many extended family members and friends. He was predeceased by his father Thomas in 1976. Bill grew up in Winnipeg and Badger and lived with his beloved wife Edna and four children in East Selkirk. He retired from EMCO after 36 years of service. He enjoyed his grandchildren, Badger, and various forms of woodworking. He was a jack-of-all-trades with talents in such areas as music (fiddle and guitar), mechanics, carpentry and plumbing. Bills family would like to thank the staff at CancerCare Manitoba, Dr. Fuchs, Dr. Nesbit, the staff at Selkirk General Hospital, and friends and family for their support. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bills memory to CancerCare Manitoba, 109-675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9. The memorial service celebrating his life will be held Monday, April 2 at 1:30 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach. Interment at Badger Cemetery.
