Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARIE ROSE ANNA ALMA HEBERT (nee DESILETS) 1920 -2001 In peaceful dignity, after a lengthy illness, Alma Hebert passed away on Wednesday, March 21, 2001 in her 81st year. Alma was predeceased by her husband "Eddy"; her son Paul; her brother Jim Desilets and sister Jeanne Eyers. Alma leaves behind to cherish her memory, daughter Cathy Carriere, husband Don of Winnipeg; son Jimmy Hebert, wife Mary Anne and grandchildren Samantha and Christopher of McKenzie, B.C. Also a grandson Trevor Hebert of Vancouver, B.C.; two sisters, Germaine Carriere and Annette Aitken; brother Paul Desilets, wife Ida; sisters-in-law, Sally Desilets and Kay Hebert; numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and friends share in our loss, this day. Alma enjoyed many activities, she was gifted at knitting and crocheting and sewing and very generously shared her beautiful creations with family and friends. She loved playing cards and many an evening was spent in her kitchen enjoying this pastime. Most of all Alma will be remembered for her keen sense of humour. She had a knack for seeing the funny side of life and expressing it in her own way. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. Rest in Peace Alma A memorial mass celebrating Almas life, for relatives only, will be held at Holy Redeemer Parish, 264 Donwood St., Winnipeg on Tuesday, April 3 at 2:00 p.m. If so desired, donations in Almas memory can be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association, 836 Ellice Ave., Winnipeg R3G 0C2 or to a charity of your choice. The family wishes to thank all of Almas friends in Pine Falls for their kindness and support over the years. Special thanks go out to the homecare team. "Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, trust also in me. In my Fathers house are many rooms. I am going there to prepare a house for you. I will come back and take you to be with me so that you also may be where I am."
